What Pace does

Pace brings exam dates, subjects and a chosen weekly revision budget into a daily plan. It records focused sessions and makes completed effort visible. Optional family support is deliberately limited so a student retains ownership of the accepted plan.

The app is designed for students aged 13 and over. It is a planning product, not a source of lessons, flashcards or generated essays. We do not claim that a timer, a streak or a website guide guarantees improved grades.

Our UK focus and actual catalogue scope

This website is written for UK GCSE and A-level revision searches, with British English, UK school context and links to relevant official qualification sources. It does not publish US SAT, AP or international-school exam guidance.

The app’s reviewed launch catalogue covers England courses across AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. Wales-only WJEC, CCEA and Scottish qualifications are outside that reviewed catalogue. A similarly named subject is not a substitute for checking the qualification.

How these guides are prepared

The Pace team prepares the guides from product documentation, original worked examples and the primary sources linked on each relevant page. Source-check dates are shown so readers can judge freshness. Alexander Dobbie is the named contact responsible for product and editorial enquiries.

AI assists drafting, research organisation and implementation. Factual checking uses the linked primary sources; examples are written for these guides and labelled illustrative. These are product-team guides, not independently reviewed teaching materials. We do not invent teacher credentials, exam-board endorsement, student testimonials or research results. Practical examples are labelled as illustrations, and learning-method guidance is kept distinct from evidence about the app.

Sources, updates and corrections

Timetable information can change. Our pages link to official board or qualification sources and tell students to confirm individual arrangements with their centre. A source-check date is a record of our review, not a guarantee that a linked file will remain unchanged.

If you find an incorrect fact, broken official link or unclear scope statement, email Alexander Dobbie at alec@syntheticceo.com with the page address and the correction. Please do not include sign-in links, student records or other private account information in a general content enquiry.

The website tools and your information

The timetable builder and countdown run locally in the browser. They do not ask for a student email address, save entries or send planning inputs to Pace. A timetable download is generated on the device.

The app uses its own account system and privacy information. Existing users can open it through the sign-in route. Public app access is being prepared. The verified store link will appear here when it is ready.
